We started Menu Profit Analyzer because we lived the problem ourselves. As restaurant operators managing independent establishments, we spent 6 to 8 hours every week tracking recipe costs in spreadsheets—manually updating ingredient prices, estimating portion sizes, and trying to figure out which dishes actually made money.
The frustrating part: chain restaurants have dedicated analysts and POS systems that handle this automatically. Independent operators don't. You're expected to have the same menu engineering insight without the same tools.
We built our platform to fix that gap. Using AI and LLM tooling, we parse your invoices, calculate real ingredient costs, and show you exactly which menu items drive profit and which are quietly losing money.
We're a small team with deep restaurant industry experience and a focus on AI-powered tooling. We don't have a full sales team or enterprise contracts. What we do have is a tool that works, pricing designed for sub-$2M operators, and a commitment to honest reporting over flashy features.
